THE TASK + REFLECTION

WEEK 2

IN WEEK 2, me and my group mates have sat down together and had a meeting, in order to discuss our job and distribute our workload. In the beginning of the meeting, we were slightly clueless on what to do; however, our leader guided us by giving initial opinions. Then, each of us shared our personal ideas that might help with the whole plan. And finally we came to a consensus.

In between, I have also voiced out my thoughts and all of us considered everyone's ideas so we could come up with the best plan as a team.

After thorough consideration, I was divided into the group of 'flooring'. For our job, we had to replace the old PVC flooring with new epoxy.

WEEK 4

GROUP MEETING , it was the whole CSI group meeting. Each group was sharing the instruction on their own parts. Moreover, we discuss and choose every choices that each group given and compare which is better.

From this meeting, we can learn to collaboration with us others from difference group and ideas.

WEEK 7

MEETING ,before we went to sites for our group wall and flooring, we have a briefing from the lecturer. Prepare and discuss every items have to bring to the sites.

I think we did great in this meeting, we separate the materials each group to bring on sites and discuss which part had to be complete on that day. After the meeting, we discussed, me and Villson were conduct on bring the exopy to the sites.

WEEK 8

TASK

WE HAD TO BE COMPLETE THE EPOXY OF THE FLOORING AND PAINTING THE WALL ON THAT DAY.

FOR THE FLOORING PART, FIRSTLY WE NEED TO REMOVE EVERY THINGS IN THE LIBRARY LIKE BOOK RACK, MATERIALS AND ETC AWAY FROM THE LIBRARY.

SECONDLY, WE REMOVE THE CARPET FROM THE FLOOR AND CLEAN IT AGAIN AND AGAIN BECAUSE THE FLOOR WAS VERY HORRIBLE AND DIRTY

WE ARRIVED SEKEPING SERENDAH, WE START TO REMOVE EVERYTHING OUT FROM THE LIBRARY AND THE CARPET. ABOUT 1PM, WE HAVING LUNCH, AND THEN AFTER LUNCH WE START TO CLEAN THE FLOOR. WE HAD TO COMPLETE THE FLOOR ON THAT DAY BUT THE FLOOR WAS WET AND TOO MANY HOLES NEEDED TO BE FIXED. MOREOVER, WE HAD INSUFFICIENT PEOPLE ON THAT DAY, SO ON THAT WE LET THE FLOOR DRY AND THEN I START HELPING OTHERS SECTION OF THE JOBS TO MAKE THINGS CAN BE COMPLETE EARLIER. I HAD HELP TO PAINT THE WALL OF THE INTERIOR AND REMOVE THE THINGS FROM THE WALL. EVERYONE WAS VERY PARTICIPATE TO DO THE JOB BY HELPING EACH OTHER BECAUSE WE HAVE ONLY A FEW PEOPLE ON THAT DAY. IT WAS REALLY FUN AND TIRED BUT I DO LEARNT A LOT FROM THE SITE WORKING ON COMMUNICATION AND UNDERSTAND THE INSTRUCTION ON DOING WORK.

WEEK 9

TASK & REFLECTION

IN WEEK 9, WE NEEDED TO COMPLETE THE FLOORING. FOR THE FLOORING WE DISCUSSED TO SUGGEST LECTURER TO USE THE EXOPY AND THE PART WAS FOLLOW UP BY MY GROUPMATE ON APPLYING THE EXOPY TO THE FLOOR AND COMPLETED THE TASK.

WEEK 12

REFLECTION

THIS MY FIRST TIME TO BE DOING A JOB WITH SENIORS,I DO FELT NERVOUS BUT AFTER ALL WE HAD WORK TOGETHER SMOOTHLY WHICH I FELT REALLY HAPPY ABOUT THAT. MOREOVER, I WAS REALLY GLAD THAT I CHOSEN WALL+FLOORING TRANSFORMATION PART BECAUSE IT REALLY LEARNT A LOT OF THINGS FROM DOING FLOORING PART. DOING THE JOB OF REFORMING THE LIBRARY, WHICH I PERSONALLY FELT GRATEFUL, BY HELPING THE CHILDREN TO HAVE A PLACE TO STUDY WHICH MAKE ME FELT THAT EVERY HARD WORK FROM US IS WORTH IT AND PAY OFF. FURTHERMORE, I DO REALLY ENJOY DOING THIS KIND OF ASSIGNMENT BY HELPING PEOPLE AND I THINK I HAVE A LOT CAN BE IMPROVED FROM DOING MY PART BUT I DO LEARNT FROM THE PAST. HOPE THAT, IT WILL HAVING THIS KIND OF WORK AFTER THE SEMS.
